World Breastfeeding Week
Sarah Nelson, daughter of Samantha and Staff Sgt. Brad Nelson, 48th Contracting Squadron, sports her new shirt and looks at sleeping Xander Ackley, son of Michelle and Tech. Sgt. Alex Ackley, 48th Civil Engineer Squadron, during the World Breastfeeding Week celebration Aug. 7. The Health and Wellness Center, Airman and Family Readiness Center, and the Women, Infants and Children Overseas office hosted this event for Liberty Wing moms for the second year in a row and invited along British “mums” from the local community, to include those from the Breastfeeding Network, a local charity that supports breastfeeding. The event was held in observance of World Breastfeeding Week and to give women an opportunity to connect with other mothers who are breastfeeding.
