Lakenheath skyline altered forever
Alan Perry (left), Land and Marine Project Engineering demolition foreman, helps guide a catwalk that was removed by Philip Clithero, L&MPE demolition operative, as the catwalk is moved to ground level by crane from almost 100 feet in the air July 2, 2009. Two water towers, one of which was more than 40 years old, were removed after a recent installment of a reservoir pump system significantly improved RAF Lakenheath's water system.
