Paying respect
Airmen from the RAF Lakenheath First Term Airmen’s Center salute in formation as their fellow Airmen lower the flags during a retreat ceremony signifying the end of the duty day June 10, 2009. During the ceremony, the Airmen lower the American, Royal Air Force and Prisoner of War/Missing in Action flags while the British and American national anthems.
