Holocaust Days Of Remembrance Observance 2009

ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH -- Guest speaker Susan Pollack spoke at the 48th Fighter Wing here April 20, 2009. Mrs. Pollack, a Holocaust survivor, recalled her struggles when as a Jewish child of 15 years old, her family from Hungary was resettled to Auschwitz, the largest Nazi's Germany concentration camp. There Mrs. Pollack's mother was killed by gas chamber and older brother was forced to slave labor which included delivering bodies to a crematorium (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Perry Aston) (Released)
