U.S Air Force Fire Fighters Train in Technical Rescue

ROYAL AIR FORCE LAKENHEATH -- Airman 1st Class Bruce Bennett, 48th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, adjusts his rappel rack during a technical rescue course here April 13, 2009. A rappel rack is an 'U' shaped frame, attached to a rappeler's harness, into which snap multiple bars that pivot from the other side of the frame. The rope is woven through as many of the bars as are required to provide sufficient friction. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Perry Aston) (Released)
