Liberty Airmen – Forward, Ready, Now in Lithuania
An F-15C Eagle takes off from Siauliai Air Base, Lithuania, during a training scramble mission Mar. 10, 2014. The 48th Fighter Wing at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, sent an additional six aircraft and more than 50 personnel, to augment the four aircraft and approximately 150 Airmen already supporting NATO's ongoing air policing mission, at the request of U.S. allies in the Baltics.
