A 748th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief inspects an external fuel pod on a 493rd Fighter Squadron F-15C Eagle before it departs Royal Air Force Lakenheath, Aug. 15, 2014, to participate in bilateral training with the Bulgarian air force at Graf Ignatievo Air Base, Bulgaria. The 48th Fighter Wing operates under U.S. Air Forces in Europe’s philosophy of remaining Forward, Ready, Now by providing a continuous presence in Europe.
