Act of Remembrance to take place Nov. 11
Across the United Kingdom, the observance of two minutes of silence is encouraged at 11 a.m. on Nov. 11, to mark the end of World War I. For Ministry of Defence employees working at RAF Lakenheath and any others who wish to attend, there will be a simple act of remembrance at Peacekeeper Park at 10:50 a.m. After the invocation and laying of a wreath, a two-minute silence will be observed.
