A U.S. Air Force 493rd Fighter Squadron F-15D Eagle departs Ämari Air Base, Estonia, Aug. 24, 2016. Martha Raddatz, ABC News chief global affairs correspondent, took a familiarization flight in the back seat of the aircraft to become familiar with the aircraft’s capabilities during the squadron’s multilateral flying training deployment. The 493rd Fighter Squadron, assigned to Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, and the 194th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, assigned to the California Air National Guard in Fresno, are participating in the FTD with 16 F-15C Eagle aircraft alongside national allies in focus of maintaining security and building partnership capacity with Estonia.
