Aerospace technicians, assigned to the 4th Component Maintenance Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, repair safety wires while deployed to the 48th CMS Propulsion Flight at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, June 20, 2019. Safety wires come in two different sizes to provide stability and helps minimize engine vibration during the flight. Maintainers are deployed to the 48th CMS to assist with the repair of aircraft parts received from deployed locations in the squarons area of operation.
