    The 48th Fighter Wing Family Advocacy office is hosting several events for Domestic Violence Awareness Month at RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall, England, throughout October, in effort to bring mindfulness to all forms of domestic violence.

  • Increased flying operations from RAF Lakenheath

    Communities in East Anglia and the surrounding areas will continue to see more jets in the sky than usual throughout October, including limited weekend takeoffs for transient aircraft.

  • 48th CES Firefighters conduct confined space training

    48th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighters conducted a confined-space training at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, England, Sept. 24. The one day exercise consisted of executing entry, exit and retrieval procedures during simulated confined-space emergencies.

    Liberty Wing Airmen attended “Can I Kiss You?” interactive training sessions hosted by Mike Domitrz, founder of the DATE SAFE Project, and the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office at the 48th Fighter Wing, Sept. 26 and Sept. 27.
