British Billy enjoys the Great British Seaside Holiday

Children ride donkeys on the beach at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk’s busiest seaside resort. Donkey rides were once a traditional feature of seaside resorts in England, dating back to Victorian times. Now less common, children are allowed to ride donkeys for a fee in summer months while on holiday, normally led in groups at walking pace. Typically the donkeys used have their names on their harnesses so they could be identified by children and parents alike. (U.S. Air Force photo by A1C Trevor McBride)
