As the U.S. Air Forces in Europe's largest fighter wing, the 48th Fighter Wing, also known as the Liberty Wing, brings unique air combat capabilities to the fight, providing all-weather, day-or-night air superiority and air-to-ground precision combat capability as well as combat search-and-rescue capabilities. Along with providing worldwide responsive combat air power and support to meet our nation's and international allies' objectives, we are also devoted to our community, which extends well beyond our gates and into the villages, towns and cities many Liberty Airmen call home.

Requests for U.S. Air Force flyover or static requests need to be sent to the Defense Attaché's office at the American Embassy in London. Their contact information can be found on their Web site, here.
